A new steel works in Egypt

As a Paduan firm specialised in the design and construction of large industrial and civil buildings with metallic structures, ICOM ENGINEERING completed realisation of an important steel works in Ain Sukhna (Suez area) for the joint venture with the company DANIELI of Buttrio (Udine) and the Egyptian Group EZZ, for the production of 1.2 million tonnes of flat laminated materials annually. ICOM ENGINEERING has designed, supplied and assembled about 7,000 tonnes of structures and linings, for about 180,000 m2 of sheet metal and panels, pre-fabricated primarily at the works of MANNI SIPRE and ISOPAN.
