On occasion of the 2004 Olympic Games in Greece, ICOM ENGINEERING designed and completed construction on one of the most important Olympic projects, the “Olympic Indoor Gymnasium for Table Tennis and Synchronized Gymnastics”, which was built in Galatsi, a suburb to the Northwest of Athens. Designed by architect Alexandros Tombaris, the complex covers an area of about 32,000 m2 and is made up primarily of the Main Gymnasium, which seats 6,000, and the Training Gymnasium, which is intended to host the synchronised gymnastics and table tennis competitions.
